What you actually need to know
Saturday, August 8, 2026. Come at seven; the crew rolls back from the river around then, still damp and full of stories.
The Bailey family is sending the address directly — check your group chat. Don't have it the night before? Call or text 562-410-7362.
No waiver, no gear list, no early start. Come hungry, wear something you can move around in, and bring the energy for a competitive round of bingo.
The main event
This is a Bailey Resort family gathering, which means the games are not a side activity. They're the point. Bring your competitive streak and your song knowledge.
If you can name the song from the first three notes, this is your moment. If you can't, you'll still know every word by the chorus.
Same rules, different era, considerably more arguing about which verse came first.
Survey says: somebody is going to take this far too seriously. Teams get sorted on the night.
The lineup keeps going past the three above — more games, more rounds, and more chances to end up holding a prize you didn't expect to win.
There's a proper prize table, stocked Bailey Resort family style. Winning is encouraged. Gloating is tolerated.
How the evening runs
7:00 PM
Food, music, and the rafting crew trickling in to tell you how they nearly went overboard.
Evening
Bingo rounds, Family Feud, and whatever else the Bailey family has lined up. Prizes throughout.
Later
Birthday photos, cake, dancing, and the part of the night that's actually the reason we're all here.
The rafting is a few hours in the morning. The BBQ is the whole evening, and it's where the photos, the games, and the birthday actually happen. Coming for the night only is a completely normal way to do this day.
Check with the host first at 562-410-7362 so the food and prize count works out. Nobody minds being asked; everyone minds running out of plates.
You're in this too
Everything guests photograph across the day goes into one private collection for Andrea — a gallery, a birthday montage, and a keepsake she opens after the party. Evening guests are a full part of it. Some of the best moments of this day are going to happen at a bingo table, not on a river.
Pick Evening BBQ or Games & prizes as the category so your shots file into the right chapter automatically. Add your name and a caption and you're done.
A birthday wish, a favourite memory, a story she'd rather you didn't tell. Written messages are sealed until the reveal — she won't see a word before then.
The winning bingo card. The face of whoever loses Family Feud on the final answer. The prize table before it gets raided. Cake, dancing, and every quiet moment in between.
Changed your mind?
Rafting spots were booked and paid in advance, and the outfitter's change window has closed. If you want to look at what the morning involves anyway, it's all there — and if something opens up, the host will know first.
